Students who meet the application requirements detailed on http://www.stjude.org/poe may
apply after September 1, 2013 for our 2014 program. Note that ALL
applicants MUST have research experience (e.g. with a science
professor or in another internship program). The deadline for receipt
of all POE 2014 application materials will be February 1, 2014.
Official credentials sent electronically, postmarked, or faxed by the
recommender or university no later than February 1, 2014 will be
accepted. Electronic credentials are much preferred, but hard copy
will be accepted. Please ask recommenders to include your name in the
subject line of emailed recommendations. Early application and
submission of credentials is strongly encouraged, since those who
apply after January 1 run a high risk of not getting all their
credentials in by the deadline. The volume of applications and
credentials is so high that we are unable to notify applicants of
